Having completed her advanced menopause training working at the menopause clinic at Guys Hospital, London, Dr Hum specialises in perimenopause and menopause. She runs Women’s Health Sussex, a successful clinic based in Haywards Heath, and supports women from all over the UK, both face to face and online.
Dr Hum believes in holistic menopause care, considering the physical and psychological effects of perimenopause, alongside hormonal and complimentary treatments. Recognising that women often suffer from poor quality care at this time of life, Dr Hum runs regular educational events for women and other health professionals.
Dr Olivia Hum is delighted to be partnering with the Academy as their GP Advisor. The impact of perimenopause and menopause on women in the workplace has been under-recognised for years.Pioneers like Kathryn Colas have been at the forefront of changing this; both in advocating and supporting women, and in driving change in the workplace.
